Lay-away orders will only be accepted for orders that total $75.00 or more, excluding shipping charges.

Lay-Away Agreement

Joy's Place will hold item (s) for a period of not more than 30 days with a 40% deposit. During this 30 day period, said item (s) will not be offered for sale to the general public. Deposit must be received by Joy's Place within 7 business days of order or item (s) will again be offered for sale to the general public.
A deposit check that is returned for insufficient funds  will void this agreement and said item (s) will immediately be offered for sale to the general public.

Deposits made by credit card must be made via Paypal.
Payment Options:
Money Order, Cashiers Check, Personal Check or Credit Card via Paypal in US Dollars only.

Upon receipt of a lay-away order, Joy's Place will issue a Lay-away Confirmation which will include the Order Date, Total Order Amount and the Due Date for final payment.
Please keep these confirmations for your records.

Any lay-away not paid in full within the 30 day period stated here within, will once again be offered for sale to the general public unless special arrangements have been made with Joy's Place.com. After the 30 day period, if said item (s) sells before being paid in full by the Lay-away customer, deposit and any payments made will be given as a web site credit. [ Minus a 20% service charge ]
Outstanding balance may be paid in full by the Lay-away customer as long as item (s) remain in stock.


As always, all items purchased on lay-away from Joy's Place.com may be returned for a refund as long as (1.) Item (s) are returned in the same condition as when shipped. (2.) Joy's Place. com is notified within 24 hours of receipt that you intend to return the item (s) and (3.) Item (s) are received within 5 business days of your return notification at buyers expense. These returns, however, are subject to a service charge due to the extended period of time the item (s) were not available for sale.


The service charge is determined by the length of time the item (s) were held.
For item (s) held between 11 and 29 days, the service charge is 25% of the agreed upon sale price of the item (s). For item (s) held 30 days or longer, the service charge is 50% of the agreed upon sale price of the item (s). Order date is used to determine length of time held.
